Stephen Atkinson
Christian Witness to Israel (CWI)

CWI is a UK-based, international evangelistic mission to the Jewish people around the world. 40% of the world’s Jewish population lives in the USA, and Stephen has a burden to stir the churches all over the USA to support Jewish mission, to help Christians understand how to reach Jewish people, and raise sufficient support to bring CWI missionaries to the US. Stephen and his family hope to immigrate to the North Dallas area in 2012. Pray for a successful Visa application for Stephen; for the work of CWI missionaries around the world; and for Stephen’s short ministry trips to the US to build momentum of interest and support among American Christians.
Wes and Jami Baker
Trujillo, Peru

Wes teaches Systematic Theology in the Peruvian Seminary, mentors ministerial candidates and church planters, and is involved in most of the ministries of Peru Mission. Jami assists the ladies ministry and is busy at home. Praise God for the growth of a new congregation in the center of Trujillo; the maturation of all the churches; and the spirit of unity among the Trujillo pastors. Pray for continued growth, maturity, and cultivation of leadership in all of the congregations; for the university ministry and a new Peruvian Campus Minister; and protection, wisdom, and strong faith for Lauren and Cullen who are studying in the US, a long way from family.

Isaiah 55 Deaf Ministries, Reynosa, Mexico

The Beales have been serving in Mexico for 12 years. Nolton (NoNo) currently serves as the country director for Isaiah 55, a grace-based ministry focused on evangelizing the Deaf primarily through education. Isaiah 55 builds schools, trains teachers and then provides a quality education for deaf children. Isaiah 55 also hosts work teams to conduct short-term missions, doing construction projects and mercy ministries such as vacation Bible Schools, ESL classes, sports clinics, medical missions, and more. Pray for God’s continual guidance and provision; for wisdom to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit; and safety for missionaries and work teams.
Border Evangelism and Mercy Ministry (BEAMM)

BEAMM believes that a wall is the answer to the border issues between the United States and Mexico… a wall, that is, of churches. Their goal is to create a church planting movement by creating a network of reformed and covenantal churches in each of the fourteen major cities of the border by the year 2020.

Lauren is serving in her first year as intern at A&M RUF. She comes to us from the University of South Carolina, where she spent her college years. She asks for prayer for the A&M campus, that God would be known and loved at Texas A&M; for the students to know the Lord deeply through her ministry; for the staff to work with great zeal for the hearts of students; and that Lauren can be equipped with great love for the people she interacts with.
Bryan Ladies Bible Study
This outreach is beginning its fifth year, and continues to meet every week in a community center in Bryan. We continue to grow in numbers and will be studying the book of Genesis for the next year. Pray that members will look to God’s Word for wisdom and insight as they struggle with life issues; for spiritual growth and inquiring minds as we dig into Genesis; for the gracious and loving outpouring of the WPC body to meet needs of the group’s members; and for the increasing cohesiveness of the group as we individually grow in Christ’s love.
Bryan Outreach
Reformed University Fellowship, Texas A&M

The Bryan Outreach is organized by a group of college students through RUF. Every Friday, a number of students visit Bryan Projects Apartments where they spend time with the children who live in the complex. They play, eat snacks, sing children’s songs about the Lord and teach a Bible lesson. Pray for salvation for the children and adults in the complex. for opportunities to share the gospel message with children and parents; for wisdom and leadership among the students; for safety for students and children; and for the continuation of relationships developed with the kids.
Christian Medical Association
Texas A&M University

For the past 14 years, CMA has gone on a Spring Break medical missions trip to a medically underserved area in another country. This March, the missions trip will again be to Peru. The missions team group will consist of over 50 people who will set up medical clinics in both an urban location and rural village areas in Lima. Free medical care will be provided and the team is prepared to share the Gospel with patients and pray for their needs. Pray for team unity, for the finances to support the trip to be provided, and safety for the missions team in their travels.

The Clows have been serving with MTW since 2002, and in 2009, they joined the church-planting team in La Ceiba.In addition to planting churches, the team also focuses on developing relationships and meeting the physical needs of the people via medical clinics, kids’ clubs, and ESL classes. John’s main role is coordinating the construction of building projects. Together they help host the short-term volunteers, as well as support the church plant and other projects. Pray for wisdom in ministry and parenting decisions; funding for construction projects; and that John would be a witness for Christ as he works alongside Hondurans in the building projects.

The Craigs assist national church planters in Mexico in how best to use the skills and talents of short term missions teams to grow and strengthen church plants. Pray that God would grant true servants hearts so that Scott and Kathy would serve Him to His Glory; for God’s provisions and safety; and for success in reaching the people of Northern Mexico with the Gospel.
Elder-Aid
This faith-based non-profit organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the elderly in the Brazos Valley. Volunteers from local churches and service organizations are recruited to reach out to the elderly in the community through home visits, energy assistance, arranging transportation to doctors appointments, repair work on their homes, yard work, and most importantly, respect.  Elder-Aid also provides affordable, safe, decent housing for the elderly who are living in dilapidated rental housing & are sometimes homeless. Pray for wisdom and direction for the leaders of the organization, and for more volunteers to assist in projects to help the elderly.

Muslim Ministry in New York City

Over 800,000 Muslims call NYC home but fewer than 20 people are currently engaged in full-time ministry to Muslims in the metro New York /New Jersey area. This relatively new ministry will be working in association with a PCA church in the borough of Queens to identify nearby communities of Muslims who have no ongoing Christian outreach and begin a personal ministry there; and to train and equip other Christians to have an effective witness to Muslims. Pray for this new team; for more churches to partner in the ministry; for Carin’s heart health and strength; and for the family to grow in persevering grace and love for Christ.

The Gideons International started distributing the Word of God in 1908. Today, they have more than 287,000 members in more than 194 countries across the globe. The Scriptures are printed in more than 96 languages and are either given directly to certain individuals or placed in selected public locations where large numbers of people who may be searching for answers will have the ability to encounter the Word of God.

The Haileys have been a part of A&M RUF June 2008. Ben previously served as the RUF Campus Minister at Hinds Community College near Jackson, MS. He attended RTS Jackson. Ben was converted to Christ through the ministry of RUF at Delta State. Beth’s parents were both in the first RUF at the University of Southern Mississippi. Needless to say, they have a big heart and great love for RUF. Pray that they would love students well and wisely, and praise God for their wonderful community of friends, and that their children Hannah (7) and Nathan (5) are doing great!

After thirty years of pastoral ministry, Tim recognized that God was calling him to help provide sound biblical training for a future generation of pastors and “servant leaders” in Africa.  Tim and Cheri serve at ABU under the leadership of Dr. O. Palmer Robertson.  Tim teaches systematic theology, Bible, preaching, pastoral ministry, Christian counseling, and Church history. Cheri, an elementary schoolteacher for twenty-five years, helps train future African educators and parents.  Pray for spiritual and physical protection and health; effective time management; monthly financial commitments from 20 churches; a continued open door to preach the gospel to Muslims; for Tim as he will serve as vice-chancellor for the 2011-12 school year; and that a future generation will be trained in God’s Word and then teach others.

Katy began her RUF work at Johnson and Wales upon her graduation in August 2010. She meets one-on-one with girl students, building relationships and getting to know and love them more every week. Katy and her husband Cody have recently accepted a call to move to Prague, the Czech Republic and begin a college ministry after Cody graduates in May 2013. Pray that the Lord would begin preparing the hearts of Katy and Cody and the Czech students; and that Katy would seek God as she decides whether to do a third year of internship with RUF.

Shannon employs a visual language to speak grace to a postmodern culture and meet individuals at the point of their need.  She is completing her first year with the Fuze internship and will be exhibiting in Sydney and Brisbane this year. In March, she will be traveling to Tokyo to contribute to a commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami last March. She returns to the United States in April and will begin looking at how to return to Perth on a long-term basis. Pray that God would be glorified through her exhibitions and travel; for wisdom as she seeks God’s leading to return to Australia; and the growth of the church in Australia.

Al LaCour serves as the national coordinator for RUF International. Al graduated from Georgia Tech and Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. After 30 years as a church planter and senior minister of four churches, Al now equips PCA Christians and churches to welcome students from around the World. Pray for Al’s supervision of RUF International campus ministers, and for the development and expansion of RUF International to other US campuses.

Kris and Paula and their two sons joined the MTW team to Slovakia in 2007. Kris leads the team in Trnava, and their mission is to help the Slovakian church there to develop leadership and help it along toward independence. Kris works primarily to develop leadership within the church; disciples some young men and is developing training for Slovak pastors; and is teaching a weekly Bible study. Paula has developed a Mommy Club as an outreach to families that has high visibility in their neighborhood and is bringing families into the church. Pray for Kristian and Ethan as they remain in the States to study, and for Kris and Paula as they continue in their roles with the church plant in Trnava.

SAF is primarily a group of Indian Christian families who attend various churches in the area who have united to reach out to the mission field God has brought into our neighborhoods. Bob and Hira Gustafson from Westminster were “Charter” members of this Bible study and fellowship. Pray that God would bring more South Asian Christian families to join SAF to strengthen the core group; that SAF would be effective in their outreach; that needed finances for a facility lease would be provided; and that God would provide the support needed for the Mathais.

MNA’s vision is that God, through the cooperative prayers and efforts of PCA churches and presbyteries, will ignite a powerful church planting and vitalization movement that impacts all of North America with the Gospel and transforms the heart and face of the PCA. The hope is for a more diverse denomination, with many churches planted and many people coming to Christ from among the various cultural, ethnic, and  socio-economic groups of North America. Other goals include: a stronger presence in the city centers of North America; a geographically more widespread presence in the US and Canada; a greater number of churches growing because of effective evangelism; and a greater vitality in all PCA churches.
New Direction Christian Women’s Job Corp
CWJC provides hope to women and a safe place where they can discover their true value and self-worth in a non-judgmental, Christian environment. Through New Direction women learn how to provide for themselves without having to rely on resources from government and other agencies. Women in need of a hand up are provided a daily Bible Study and a Christian mentor.

After starting RUF at the University of Oregon, the Rapps  were thrilled to join the church planting efforts in Central Texas. David served as assistant pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Waco while laying the groundwork for a new church plant in Temple. Redeemer PCA in Temple had its inaugural public worship service on September 19, 2010. Pray for the Gospel to saturate hearts, community, and worship. Pray for relationships to be built and nurtured inside and outside the church; for church members to be energized for ministry; for community groups to be places of spiritual growth and outreach; and for continued financial support during the start-up phase.

This ministry communicates the transforming power and unconditional love of God through Jesus Christ to those touched by the criminal justice system, envisioning a community of permanently changed individuals and restored families. Restorative Justice employs a chaplain in the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office. Pray for board members with vision and determination to lead the ministry toward expansion of services; for financial support, especially on a regular monthly basis; follow-up spiritual care to those released from the Brazos County jails; for provision of workers to certain areas of the ministry; for behavioral evidence to BCSO staff that their work for the inmates is making a difference; and for encouragement, health and blessing for Chaplain Dan Warden and Coordinator of Volunteers Jennie Garner.

SPCA is a cooperative network of PCA churches in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. This pioneering ministry on the frontier of the PCA includes over 70 churches representing over 16,000 members voluntarily coming together to fulfill their vision and mission. In the providence of God, this area is experiencing the kind of growth that calls for increased efforts in the fields that are ready for harvest. This area includes 4 of the 5 fastest growing cities of over a million in population. At the end of 2010, the Network had started or materially assisted in the start of 50 new PCA churches and supported the initiation of 12 new RUF ministries in the Southwest.  SPCA’s objectives include: identifying and training leaders; planting churches and new RUF chapters; and nurturing new plants until full maturity.

Steve and Dawn have been in Kyiv since the Fall of 2011. Steve is working with the Evangelical REformed Seminary of Ukraine and with the MTW Country Director to help them analyze their current structure, identify their vision for the future, and evaluate the best utilization of resources. Dawn is expecting their second child in May 2012. Praise God that their financial support was provided and they have begun to settle in Kiev. Pray for health and protection for Dawn and their unborn child; for their family and growth in grace; for wisdom and grace as Steve has difficult discussions with ERSU and the MTW Country Director; and that in all of their interactions they would reflect God clearly to others.
